Lots of interest
in the latest digital
and technological innovations for fashion presented by 50 leading sector companies as well as the packed program of speeches,
talks and roundtables. The awards were also presented for the Innovation Call launched together with UniCredit for the best fashion tech startups.
The 2025 edition of e-P Summit has ended. The Pitti Immagine event that brings together the digital innovation community working for the international fashion industry was held on 21 and 22 May at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence

50 high tech digital exhibitor companies participated in the Summit which proposed a multi-faceted program of round tables, speeches and presentations – almost 40 talks were scheduled over two days – with guests sharing their experiences as well as their visions for the future of fashion and the increasingly central role played by innovative technologies.
Overall, the two days of the event saw the participation of around 700 members of the trade at the Leopolda.

The focus of this edition was on the new applications of artificial intelligence throughout the production chain and the customer journey: from content creation to product and supply chain traceability, including the intelligent management of inventories, orders and rejects, right up to the optimization of e-commerce and omnichannel integration.

The Innovation Call awards for fashion tech startups launched by Pitti Immagine and UniCredit were presented during the event: the e-P Summit Innovation Award (€ 5,000) went to MOVOPACK (specialists in personalized packaging that can be reused up to 20 times), while Tailoor, an AI and 3D technology based phygital platform will receive the support of the UniCredit Start Lab
It was a really interesting edition especially in terms of the topics tackled in the intensive program of presentations, interviews and conversations, amongst which the state of the art of artificial intelligence and its applications to fashion and luxury was clearly pivotal without being exclusive. The strength of this event lies in the participation and experiences of the IT companies that put new life into the exhibition section of the Summit and which brought along their latest innovations to this edition.  Alongside the high quality of the contacts involved in the supply and demand of new digital technologies, we recorded a drop in the attendance of fashion companies clearly influenced by the difficult current situation of the fashion system.  Tomorrow we will already be starting work on broadening and strengthening the 2026 edition.

The edition of e-P Summit that has just ended confirmed the high qualitative level of the program agenda and of the speakers who were able to offer concrete and forward-looking visions of the big themes affecting the fashion system today. The three round tables offered particularly significant ideas on which to reflect: from the need to integrate technology and creativity more organically to the responsible management of the production chain in terms of true sustainability, to the growing role of data as a strategic lever for innovation and consumer relations.  Despite the less than favorable economic environment, the quality of the discussions confirmed the central role of this rendezvous in the debate on the future of the fashion industry. The high value of the content proposed represents a patrimony that will be capitalized on and shared far beyond the Summit itself.
